Depends on who gets to use the portals, surely. More RES portals allow for more and more thickly layered RES fields, which would shield the populace even better.

The new portal submisions will alter mind palaces of many agents. This is a preparation for new form of communication from Exogenous. Can this be called EXO Precursors? Are those the Portals? Or XM? Or Both?

Misty is right. We mustn't take this too far. If we continue to advance and expand the Portal Network, what little protection against the Exogenous we have will be gone. And if and when that happens, all of us will be in danger. (But the Enlightened may not think of this. Some Resistance the same.)
