I found this in an envelope inside one of my usual safe dead drop spots.

I found this in an envelope inside one of my usual safe dead drop spots. I checked with the source who usually uses that spot, and it wasn't him (different kind of envelope, too). Not sure what it means, or where it leads, but sharing it out in case…

  1. It's either missing a delicately ripped second part or it's a coastline.

  3. I'm looking at it closer now, it has the same colors as the South African flag (bar some red). Which is also where one of the secondary sites took place over the weekend.

  4. to me it looks like the cutout of a castle or building (kind of like the bear did for the event in CA where we found the redacted information from the attack on the compound) but don't know exactly where it would be.

  8. If it helps, this appears to be some sort of marker on possibly recycled paper piece of artwork. It may or may not be torn - it may have actually been coloured that way.

  9. I think it's a map... but I don't know if the green part is the land or the sea...

  10. brown part looks like backlit (fine) brown paper at 10X - 20X. so the green brush strokes show some fairly fine edge detail.

  11. What I don't get is how anyone gets a passcode out of this. Someone walk me through the steps!

  12. i'd bet a small amount of money that it is from a map of an area near the "mystery spot", near santa cruz, california. but i can't locate an area that matches. the "mystery spot" would make just too much sense in a story like this one.
