Does one side need to claim all the archetypes for it to amount to anything? I assume we are trying to assemble a 13Magnus or Antimagnus group. Since that requires every archetype to be assembled as a group, is this an all or nothing game?
Ryan Schoon My belief is that, as of now, there are two outcomes.
The first is total control of all the Researchers and therefore, complete control of the Niantic Magnus.
The second is that a faction control the majority of the Researchers. For example, let's say that the Resistance control 6 of the 13 and the Enlightened control 7. In that situation, the will and influence of the faction that got the majority will be the greater influence within a disharmonious Magnus that'd be made.
Mustafa Said I'm pretty sure that the faction that wins the majority will boot out all the researchers from the opposing faction and then Q2 will become about trying to capture the shards of the new researchers. This is assuming that Acolyte or Jahan ends up choosing that happens
Ryan Schoon , or could this be the opening phase of an ongoing/recurring event? Shard-ball could be a regular thing!
And since Magnus' can be 'synthetic', like the NIA magnus, perhaps the most archetypical amongst ourselves could compose future Magnai? Is that a word?

Hank Johnson weighs in on the New Wave with some interesting thoughts and ideas that connect this relatively new phenomenon to the ancient world. http://investigate.ingress.com/2016/07/29/art-and-power/
