Ah Hank Johnson found the Orne Library Special Collections section at Miskatonic University. There one can find authentic Cthulhu tomes, occult books, and other rare, very interesting artifacts.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious if he stumbled upon the famous Necronomicon. It contains many secrets about the Old Ones.
He is very fortunate to have gained access. I'm told the Special Collection is strictly guarded and kept under lock and key.
I suspect that volume is "Unaussprechlichen Kulten", the title of a fictional book by H.P. Lovecraft, mentioned in Robert E. Howard's short story "The Black Stone".
ReplyDeleteIt also seems to represent NOIR.
And I suspect it including the project Die Glocke.
Hank Johnson is being secretive, and according to him, secrets are lies in disguise, is it safe to say that he's lying?
ReplyDeleteAnd we get to that delicious logical quandary:
A man tells you that he is a liar. Then he tells you that he's lying.
Is he lying, or telling the truth?

ReplyDeleteYik Sheng Lee So. I'm confused. The Primal Object allowed Hank Johnson to enter the library? Where he found another Symbol or Primal Object? Or his vision showed him the book, The Primal Object?
ReplyDeleteInstinct tells me it triggered memories taken from simulacrum throughout the ages via a prime artifact which served as a catalyst.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about Ingress tieing in with Lovecraft. Not exactly doing the work justice IMHO.
ReplyDeleteWait...the weird ' in the word N'zeer....OMG THE N'ZEER IS CONTROLED BY CTHULHU!
