A reliable source informs me that OPR in the Ingress Scanner is getting a boost. Details should emerge via official channels shortly... keep an ear to the ground.

  1. It does not matter. OPR is a joke...

  2. Still have portals in limbo.. Why bother submitting more...?

  3. I guess that means we can submit the same portal more often in hopes of getting reasonable reviewers not biased by their location.

  4. #GiveUsPortalMonkeysBack better than corrupted opr!

  5. Almost every portal worthy sculpture or piece of art I submitted thus far has been rejected because it's not on Google street view...

  6. This is good. We can continue to expand the Portal Network.

  7. yeah...first they "borrow" an idea (first known as P.O.R.T Portal Oversight Review Team (was supposed to be a team of vanguard types (voted by the PLAYERS and only levels 14+ could partake))) ....then they give judgment to they very people submitting BS portals...lol.
I go from a 700+ & "great" score just prior to the badge release to an INSTANT "poor" rating after the badge. I saw that I needed another 40 "good judgment" reviews for the next badge tier, so I resumed with the same diligence and review process.... now sitting at over 1200 reviews, I have ZERO additional "agreements" counting towards my badge? FFS NIA...quit the effing Calvin ball BS.

I reject A LOT of crappy submissions and even clever attempts to take photos of legitimate items in one place and then "claim" the object is at a different location (usually a home portal). It would be a GREAT advantage if we could give an explanation of WHY we reject a portal so that NIA can review it closer....as it stands...if a few friends of the submitter happen to get a submission, it gets through.
Hell.... we have portal submitted by an agent with just the same agent's name as the portal title...now how did that happen if OPR works?

  8. Still havent heard back on the majority of my submissions. A couple got processed within days but around 90% havent gotten a response since the confirmation emails. 1 of the 7 i submitted the day submissions reopened has been processed. Quality photos of big churches just pending....if the backlog is this bad why are they expanding? Curious how the ones that did get approved became gyms in pokemon go almost every time. Ignore it unless it populates the cash cow?
