ReplyDeleteI do find this strange for Devra. She normally doesn't loose a source, or access to information. Though there is something about how she said it, shes hiding something. I know she is.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell Devra is disapointed herself. But she also knows what this means to the Agents of the Resistance. It good that she does see both sides...
Also she made this very short, usually she explains more then this. It makes me worry about her.
Something seems off..
Devra is a scientist and access to more data can mean a clearer picture. Of all of the investigators, Devra has been one of the most open and consistent to her root - to help humanity against threats. I would put this perspective into the mix. What if someone knew Devra would use the data in a certain way, and wanted that, so they set a chain of events in motion. Calvin did this to Devra multiple times as we have seen over his slow and steady manipulation.
ReplyDeleteBasically, if someone benefits, while it could be that person, it could also be a gamemaster knowing the way the pieces will play and making sure those pieces have access to what they need #longgame
and a second thought - - Could you see Devra and Hank as a very good team. Devra has some awesome ideas but is quick to jump in and use them as she is often focused on a sole goal. Hank has perspective, he can see a larger playing field and knows a bit more about strategy. They could temper each other very well.
ReplyDeleteGiven Hank Johnson 's past with Devra Bogdanovich, I'm not at all surprised that he gave her access to NIAs archives. He did even trust her to be his eyes and ears in SF. For me, this is the beginning of a cooperation between them. I have long advocated for this and am happy to see it's finally happening.

ReplyDeleteDevra Bogdanovich lost the knowledge of her Portal Virus experiments after her own recursion during Abaddon. That knowledge was locked away under Calvin's control. Hank Johnson had recently stated to Devra "You created them once, you have the potential within you to do it again." In regards to those experiments..
ReplyDeleteThe picture is becoming much clearer. Devra Bogdanovich will begin her experimentations again. This time with direct assistance from Hank Johnson.
