  1. what you resist persists. follow your instinct, Hank. nothing comes from without, all things come from within.

  2. I do not think this is a place you should get into. Theres the chance its just a setup. Seeing you take control of the NIA, I don't see it as something you would so. You know how Shaw is. Please hank, I hope you make the right choice here. Remember, you cant be forced into anything. This is your choice...

  3. Here’s the message I left to Hank

“To me, you are the consciousness of Ingress and you are the beacon in the chaos amongst the dark shades around everything related to XM. I respect you.
I know you’re looking at the great opportunity and the potential achievements to be when you are at the position.
You are definitely the most qualified person to take the offer.
Yet, can you live in the compromising and the vagueness of the political game? It's not avoidable since it's the lifestyle there, in THAT circle.
A good solder, a good general, usually could not be a good politician, we know that too well.
No matter how you choose, I believe as long as you keep you to be who you’ve always been, most agents will stand behind you.

BTW, a strange feeling kept bugging me. Without even a slightest disrespect to the dead. Do you want to check again, carefully, if Calvin and Phillips were actually dead? If the answer is negative (which, to be honest, does not surprise me), the scheme behind is even darker than I‘ve ever imagined. Please, be careful by all means.”

  4. Difficult decision. You could change the Nia to be something better. One the hand the politics around Nia could devour you.

  5. If he joins, he will be manipulated. I hope for all our sakes that he stands back.

  6. I think Hank getting himself assassinated would be bad for the Enlightened and good for archaeology in general, so he should definitely take the job.

  7. He'd definitely need to watch out for slings and arrows.

  8. With taking this position comes great responsibility and many temptations . You will be manipulated and be put in a position of danger . Only you know your strengths and weaknesses Hank . I wish you the best for whatever outcome you decide on . If you take the job surround yourself with trusted loyal friends .

  10. Tis nobler in the mind to take the position in Nia than to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. Welcome Hank 💚
