Richard Loeb If you have been watching Essex (as I suspect you have been all along) you should have noticed for the past 6-7 weeks there have been a group of us running our own RPEs on a weekly basis. I would highly encourage anyone interested to read the transcripts which are made public each week.
ReplyDeleteAs an agent that has taken part in many of these sessions, I can honestly say they are amazing fun and very easy to get drawn into. I can see how these type of sessions can affect our reality as they each seem to leave an impression on the player and can even change the player's perspective.
This is good news that all of the documents have been recovered.
ReplyDeleteBut those conducting these RPEs need to be careful. Like H. Richard Loeb said, Remote Participation is not fully understood. Which does make it dangerous. No one knows what danger and harm the events can cause.
But that is no reason to stop. To find out more about something you must continue doing it.
Remote Participation is an amazing yet dangerous thing to do.
Be careful.

Richard Loeb those of us in Essex who have been participating in RPEs like to refer to the role of a GM as "the Patron" since as you can see, no character sheet exists for that role and the archetype's description fits the job of a GM, "the Patron" also has #ingress flare. We would be greatful if you followed suit. 😉

ReplyDeleteOh and the answer is "it depends" since many of our sessions involved tecthulhus and anomalous zones.*
* One reoccurring NPC seems to travel in-between anomalous zones for some unknown purpose.
