ReplyDeleteIf the tecthulhu is a machine that allows us to interact with the Shapers and N'Zeer directly then why were we told it was a weapon that needed to be destroyed?!?! If that hypothesis is correct, it makes the motivations behind ViaNoir seem so, I don't know, selfish.

Niantic doesn't want to admit it, but the Tecthulu is Pokemon Go... they created an AI monster of epic proportions. (Let's face it, Pokemon are AI.) They couldn't contain it, so some tried to destroy it via sabotage. And by sabotaging it, they drew more attention to it, ensuring it wasn't just a flash in the pan, but a more sustained fire...
