They both have a point but both extremes are not the answer here. We need technology to progress but any change has to be controlled.
ReplyDeleteWhat concerns me about Tecthulhu is that the Call of Cthulhu has two natures.
ReplyDeleteIt promises starry wisdom, true- but it also promises that humans are sheep and that by answering the call one may prove oneself greater than the unthinking, conformist mass of humanity.
Doesn't that remind you of both factions?
We're all vulnerable to the call of Tecthulhu. That's a fact.
ReplyDeleteTyphoon Jim dont be so sure we're not here, my friend. 😉

We tend to imply a lot of metaphoric mumbojumbo in things who are logical consequences of elemental laws of nature and physics. May a AI isn't just "good" or "bad".
Its the same like with order and chaos, too much order is as bad as too much chaos. Terms of good and evil just dont fit here.
The same problem hits the faction play, you just cant say this opinion is ENL and this is RES.
Nabuna OS I'm perfectly agree with you
ReplyDeleteDaeniem Loidlan what the who now
