There are a number of unanswered questions about this so-called 'Vesuvian Magnus,' but there is one area where I'm inclined to agree with Hank and Dr. Wright... I think Obsidius was a pawn in a much larger game. And that, my friends, may have some pretty seriously implications on our world today.

And yet..We're still no where closer to finding out what the true goal of the Vesuvian Magnus was-or even is, assuming they like the 13 and AntiMagnus societies survived to the modern day.
ReplyDeleteSo if Obsidius was the Viator, charged with holding an assassin in check along a journey directed by an Oracle, I suppose that makes Titus a Calvin figure. One common theory is that Calvin was secretly working to harness other sensitives in the service of AM but I think his deeper motives remain a mystery. Was Titus serving an established faction or charting a third way?

ReplyDeleteYik Sheng Lee I have done some prior research on that eruption and looking into it further I believe there was a 13 magnus nest around that area of Mount Vesuvius. Perhaps the devastation from that eruption was something started by activating that shield. Maybe it was even the power source. A theory on the translation of the name of the volcano calls it "the one who lightens". (Enlightens perhaps?)
ReplyDeleteI agree H. Richard Loeb with either path that is successful our future is going to either be simple or complex really soon. The simple version - "BOOM" Vesuvius like explosion, (perhaps the Wakulla Volcano in FL) or complex version who knows...
I'm eager to see what lies ahead, secluded in the library researching like I do. Newest book in hand.
By the way see if vesuvianite gives you an eerie, creepy feeling like it does me when I look at it. I could see that being Crystalized XM from the overpowering explosion.
Any thoughts?
