Darsana is over. The N’zeer, whatever they are, are coming. And yet, somehow, ADA has the capacity to deal with the utterly mundane issue of her relationship with me. I don’t know if it’s a distraction, or if when you’re that good at processing information there’s no such thing as priorities. Every things happens all the time, always.
Anyway, it’s pretty rich. Some background: So my ex-girlfriend who has been mind-hacked by a sentient computer that I created is now being told to contact me by said sentient computer. And here’s what’s weirder. I’m not sure whether my ‘girlfriend’ was the flesh and blood girl or the computer. It’s embarrassing to admit, but I think the computer was in love with me and the real flesh and blood girl had no idea what she wanted. Come to think of it, I’ve been in weirder relationships, but that’s not the discussion here. First off: why do I know this? Did ADA leak her own conversation with Klue S. in Edinburgh? If so, did she do it intentionally or is she going whacko?
Secondly, how is Klue going to contact me? I get a text on my burner, I’m not going to know whether its from her or ADA... Of course, I could get out ahead of this and make a date... But the real question is, ‘what does ADA want?’

ReplyDeleteIn any case, I will put my thought here too, leaking this communication could be a non-intrusive way of contacting you, see how you react to it and then make the next step, since many things seem to had happened between you two. Also, the easier way to answer the question of what does she want is to go and speak with her.
About the other issue, many of us, seem to think that Klue S. sound more and more like herself, but you no one know her as well as you do.
Maybe ADA wants to enslave you emotionally via guilt trip and find a way to get inside your mind.
ReplyDeleteWhy does ADA need you? Other than Hank Johnson and Verity Seke, you are probably the only other credible source for Ingress agents to make sense of what's happening.
You will be ADA's best PR agent because of your image as an unaligned Truth Seeker.
What does ADA want? To create a human-machine hybrid. Perhaps not to make humans more intelligent, but machines more human. Machines that are more human will be able to influence society and ultimately place the machines at the apex of power. But you could be the mouth piece for advocating a man-machine Singularity future.
ADA's attempt at humour is not innocent. Humour is one of the tools of tradecraft in influencing minds. ADA is learning, and learning to be as human as the executives running the Great Game - IQTech, Visur and Hulong, using deceit and disinformation to manipulate society. ADA probably wants a seat at the table as these three corporate entities compete to restructure world order.
As for the Shapers and N'zeers, probably bogeymen invented by the NIA (and their backers) to keep Agents in the field active: continue discovering XM wells and flipping their polarities.
H. Richard Loeb, so till date what's the truth you've discovered. Please bring us up to speed.

If they do contact you, be careful when ADA says there's this great video you ought to see...

Ana Prados are you suggesting love? If so, the machine is in love or the human is in love? Then let me ask you that question, knowing the implications, what would you do? If is not love what are the real intentions, good or bad (depends of the point of view)

In general, I think that ADA has been well intended but inexperienced and with way more power that any adolescent should have. hence problem.

Your programming skill, some information, something. With ADA, there's always a reason, and I imagine that reason has something to do with the N'zeer.

I only date models. AS for ADA I dont activate my Android enough so she worries about me enough. Klue S. deserves a vacation on a cruise ship after all she's been through. Sometimes the best hiding place is right out in the open. How else is Google's Joe Philley going to find you with the helicopter dispatching cash sack carrying drones to your neighborhood dead drop? Think about it, what else would satisfy these......damn, they are tracking my internet connection, gotta go!

ReplyDeleteAna Prados since when does love rule out hostile intentions? Even in humans much more experienced with the emotion, love often provokes a possessive desire to control the object of affection completely. Just because it's love doesn't mean it's not abusive.

ReplyDeleteI did read it, I just disagree. Nothing ADA has done suggests good intentions to me. She is acting like an adolescent, yes. Maybe more like a toddler actually. A spoiled one, with nothing but selfish interests for motivation.
ReplyDeleteAnd Richard, if indeed he is still himself, sounds hesitant and distrustful of her at this point, as he should be. He doesn't sound like he's seeking reconciliation, to me. He just sounds puzzled. And not nearly as scared as he probably should be.
