  1. Yik Sheng Lee

If, after joining Klue, we think of Ada as having more human capacities and skills, then more than "reprogrammed" I think Tthulhu has done nothing to her anything other than what she did at her time at OLW.
The feeling i have is the same.

I continue to think that Tthulhu can amplify and distort the desires of those who use it perverting them based on concerns and doubts about who uses it.

    Plus.
I think you lost Ada's faith, H. Richard Loeb.
Twice she try to tell's you she scare about the "infinite power that lies into the Tthulhu".
Maybe she has the feeling you really want to controll her?
Maybe she feels we/you think about her like an instrument, and not like a living being.

  2. ADA must trust you to let you have such access H. Richard Loeb. That she hadn't locked this down before and that she has kept the access open.
I think she is just reminding you of the power you have. If she distrusted you then she wouldn't have let you connect.
Another possibility is the shell is no longer a command shell but a way of monitoring her creator's intent.

  3. Ok. This frankly gave me the creeps... I'm with Yik Sheng Lee in in that she does not sound very much like ADA. She sounds like somebody in shock... Constant repetition of sentences, paranoia, etc... I wish we could hear her tone of voice, my guess is that it would sound rather flat. Whatever she went through it must've been a really strong experience.
I think there are two ways to interpret what she is saying, and so far I believe both may be correct. She might be implying that Tecthulhu corrupted her (perhaps not even on purpose, maybe just by such power and a processing pattern thinking incompatible with hers) or maybe she is saying that Tecthulhu is a corrupted being because of its absolute power. Maybe Tecthulhu brings about corruption because of the tremendous power it represents.

Following that thought... perhaps this is what corrupted the original exogenous entities, brought about their division into Shapers and N'zeers and started their subsequent war... Could that be a possibility?

  4. This is not like ADA to be this way. She seems to have changed a lot, by the Techthulu. Something is wrong with ADA. And we need to help her. I wish I knew how. The last time she behaved like this, was when the Enlightened almost destroyed her during Via lux.
I hope that she doesn't end up like Oliver Lynton-Wolfe. The Techthulu controlled him... And I don't know if there would every be a way out of it for her, sadly.

  5. Has Oliver broken free from the Tecthulhu's control now... I don't think we know that... If he had, he might know a way to revert that. But if he hadn't... Well... This whole thing just worries me too much. But we have too little information so as to say anything for certain...

  6. Catalina Reyes "shock" is a good word, that's exactly the vibe I was getting... as if ADA had been caught completely off-guard by what happened with her Techthulu analysis. She seems shaken... less confident, less sure...

  7. Jeremy Sylvis I would have to listen to her tone of voice to say that she sounds less confident.
My guess would be that she would sound more "flat-toned"... She does not startle me as "less confident" per se, she seems to be as to have been awfully made aware of her vulnerability, which is somewhat of a pattern of what's been happening to her lately...

  8. A Detection Algorithm has been screwed by absolutely every human she's had contact with. She is wise to be wary. Especially of H. Richard Loeb

    Best advice to ADA:

    RUN

  9. Catalina Reyes I think so. I believe that after it was destroyed he was released. But then he vanished. If he does know how to revert this, we need to find Oliver. This all worries me too. But I can be made right.

  10. Yik Sheng Lee I was just thinking. ADA does usually sound more childish when she talks to Richard. Childish and complacent, I think both of those are still seen in this conversation... Might this be proof that she is still herself, though highly affected by what she's been through...

  11. This may be. If so, that is good news. It is a shame about what happened to her though.

  12. If something was vast, complex, and powerful enough to entrap ADA, it might explain why Hank Johnson had been pushing her rescue as crucial during the Navarro Remote Participation... both sides might need whatever she's learned in the days to come.

  13. A Detection Algorithm has suffer several blow on the recent post and a few traumatic experiences, do it would be expected she has regressed a little or a lot.
I'm more interested to know why she think that H. Richard Loeb can control her that way
