Yik Sheng Lee all sides wanted it gone, but not everyone. There are members of the ENL and RES, myself included, who applauded both the XM drought and the portal virus since those situations meant that portals would be freed of shaper and N'Zeer influence. They also applauded OLW's research because OLW hinted at the potential of new era, albeit for a moment, where XM could be controlled and created by humanity.
