If you recall - there existed two versions of Devra's Exotic Messages - is this one reason why?

Edgar Allan Wright Who tried to take over your mind and why and why did they "fail"? Are there others who were not so lucky to "escape" and have been taken over?? Does this connect to what really happened at the Waratah Symposium? Were you part of a project related to the Vaults, Techthulu or something else?
I think the variations in the messages we had from Devra Bogdanovich during Shonin were a function of her being caught in the portal network and being influenced by both N'zeer and Shaper influences. The same divergent personalities were also seen in the case of Oliver Lynton-Wolfe during Abaddon and A Detection Algorithm during Via Lux during the periods when both were being influenced by the different factions.
ReplyDeleteWhat Hank is describing may be related but I feel this is a seperate phenomenon.
This is no doubt in part because of the radical shift in personality she seems to have undergone following Abaddon and her recursion. Reclaiming the memories of her "do anything to stop the portals" self and the apparently horrified and repentant woman she was during Via Noir would almost certainly cause some discrepancies between them.
