The saying is: You win some, you lose some.

The saying is: You win some, you lose some. Today, it seems, everyone involved gets a little bit of that. The day ended in a dead heat. 7 to 7. Any way around, it's clear that the next #ViaLux Anomalies in September are going to be critical.

  1. Did anyone encounter agents of either New Wave faction?

  2. James Nelson I think the "new wave" is marketing lore for agents who are beta testing that one #ingressFitBit MOD bracelet thing.

  3. Well, the secret/not secret, massive and unstoppable new wave resistance ambush failed to materialize in the Americas. All did not go as planned, apparently.

    ADA be like 😴

  4. The guy who danced during laser show in Wroclaw looked pretty New Wave to me :D

  5. QuantumIngressEffectIngress QuantumEffect. I think you are right about the NWR's credibility. Here are the scores for the European sites:

    Wroclaw
Enl Shards 56, Res Shards  37
    Enl 1426 Res 1624

    Turkey
Enl Shards 24; Res Shards 24
    Enl 415 Res 479

    Birmingham
Enl Shards 13, Res Shards 20
    Enl 515 Res 630

Resistance won the European ground game but they lost the shards in most of the European cities which shows how much the ENL's tactics improved when it comes to playing with flash shards from when they first were released.

In North America, the ENL doubled the score of the resistance at all sites. The only outlier was San Jose where the Resistance apparently decided to no show.

  6. Mario Valenzuela II RES won all sites in Europe by small margins, while they lost every site in the US where the ENL beated them by at least double scores. It seems the 'Resistance New Wave' only make things worse😂

  7. Jannes Van Slooten you are not giving them credit. It takes alot of skill to pull of a strategic 2nd measurement retreat to the afterparty and have it stick. 😂

  8. 7-7 may seems like a dead heat but 4437-3603 surly doesn't. Looking forward to the next day of #ViaLux😊

  9. Mario Valenzuela II you can only play to the scoring system, as you guys found out in Abaddon.

  10. How did you identify agents from the new wave during the anomaly? Finally NWR agents and Resistance Agent work together... perhaps they didn't be able the syncronize their tactics and this was the reason of their "defeat". I talk about NWR defeat because they expected a victory as a revolution during the abomaly, with a massive assistance of NWR Agents.
    From my point of view:
For the ENL is a victory because they avoid the RES victory.
For the RES is a defeat simply because they didn't win.

  11. QuantumIngressEffectIngress QuantumEffect the unduly confident RNW claimed mayor victories in Denver and Wroclow, while in fact they lost Denver by a landslide and their margin 'victory' in Wroclow wasn't impressive neighter. Are you suggesting that the New Wave was trying to obtain their victory by deception and lies? Please clarify.

  12. Maybe their victory isn't as simple as we think it may be... Maybe it's not just in the scores?

  13. I share Vicki Ellen's precision regarding the rules of the anomaly system: We play to win the game, not the game we wish we had.

In this case, however, the NWR required a win, and they didn't get one.
Also, by default anomaly rules have awarded ties to the side with more points, but in this case it was not explicitly defined -- some clarification from the so-called gamemasters (well know they're high level sensitives) might be in order.

  14. The Resistance is aimless... directionless. Jahan's leadership is not bad, but RES losses are significant enough in morale that a win here is simply... how should I say this? Out of scope? Seeming beyond reach?

There is leadership. Now the RES needs a champion again.
