Just got my advance copy of Niantic Project: Origins. If you're in the greater LA area, head to Emerald Knights in Burbank this Thursday to get a signed copy.
It was weird to see myself drawn in a comic book, but I can attest to the fact that most of what was in there was accurate. More on that at some other time.
Two and a half years ago, I posed one, simple question:
‘What is the Niantic Project?’
Now we have a much better idea thanks to Tycho C. and friends. Calvin was deep in from the beginning. The question is, what did he know and when did he know it?
I’m saying he’s been Anti-Magnus from the beginning. He duped Ni and the others into funding his creation of a Magnus right on top of one of the most powerful Portals in the world (and which just happens to house a particle collider).
I’m saying that many of the covert machinations since then have been intended and unintended consequences of his grand experiment with Niantic. Did he succeed? Well, it appears the N’zeer are back and are influencing us on a macro level. Did he know what would become of ADA? Still trying to figure that out. Did he manipulate Devra into releasing the virus that caused the Portals to weaken and opened the doors for the N’zeer’s return? You tell me.
As always, you get one big answer, but new questions emerge in its wake. It’s a process. The truth is a process. You keep digging.
The whole Bobby situation makes a lot more sense when viewed through this reasoning.
ReplyDeleteH. Richard Loeb would you please tell us about that seemingly magical bit of metaprogramming that you did on ADA? What was the functional purpose of the code? Why did you make the code inaccessible to ADA? Did you have help writing it? If so, who? Was it original work or derived from prior art?
ReplyDeleteOh and, just one more thing ... why, exactly, were you "not kept on" at Niantic?
Not much longer before we can see the book for ourselves. It sounds like Calvin's role is pretty well revealed. The next question will be how much is eerily accurate and how much is intentionally obfuscated by NIA interference at Cryptozoic.
