All I know right now is this, Klue S. is on her way to Portland. I don't know if this is what she wanted, or if some person or group is coercing her into being there.
It has me worried. Last time she was there was after the events of #TimeZero.
The London Enlightened got a hold of a crucial packet of information (if I recall correctly, it was images of the first known Shaper Glyphs) and they were threatening to destroy them unless Klue showed up at the Portland Anomaly, knowing full well that it might have some unknown effect on her.
And it did. She was one of the fiercest believers in the cause of the Resistance before that moment, and then it changed.
Now, I don't really know where she stands after the whole business with A Detection Algorithm, but I do know that her showing up at Portland can't be a coincidence.
And it's got me worried.

ReplyDeleteEven if Klue is now truely separated from ADA (and no, I'm still not convinced that this is the case), her time spent as KlADA will still have an impact on her. She might be looking for something that strengthens her connection to the time before she got glyph-hacked.
ReplyDeleteWe know that portals can store parts of our memories, especially portals that you have a strong connection to (-> Hank Johnsons Breadcrumbs).
So it is quite possible that the portals in Portland hold old memories of Klue, which she hopes to recover.

ReplyDeleteWe should have learned by now that Klue S. is not someone that can be controlled, she will go where her spirit tell her to, for as long as she think she should.
ReplyDeleteI will remember you H. Richard Loeb that part of the what caused ADA to show her the glyph sequence, after last time she was on Portland where your concern for her, so I will recommend you, that this time, you accept and support her on her choices, whatever those may be..
Perhaps we may see Klue S. reunited with A Detection Algorithm soon?

ReplyDeleteH. Richard Loeb, I don't believe that what she experienced while she was Enlightened was truly who she was. I believe in who she was before the Enlightened took a hold of her mind. Don't lose that portion of her identity, it's still deep inside of her. Even though she may never be the same, she's still Klue, and we all know how Klue behaved before the anomaly that swayed her, before the glyph sequence that changed her. That part of her CAN'T be dead.

ReplyDeleteBut if she joins the Enlightened, because they hack her mind, then we have nothing to discuss... the ENL would play the same game, for what they hate the Resistance? Sounds hypocritical, and I could have used stronger words believe me.

ReplyDeletePéter Csiszár Yik Sheng Lee , Klue S. was affected by a Resistance field when she rejected Roland Jarvis. All resistance fields were aligned with the N'Zeer since day one; we just never knew about it until this year. The resistance is a lie.
ReplyDeleteThe only way for someone to choose between the Enlightened and the Resistance on "their own free will" during an anomaly would be if the score was tied, all the portals in the anomaly site were neutral, and if there were no fields overhead.
Richard Walden is behind this somehow.

ReplyDeletePéter Csiszár I think what he's getting at is that we've both been in the wrong in our treatment of those influenced by fields. We of the Resistance were duped by Calvin and his machinations into serving a different group "seeking the promises of some otherworldly power".
