YURI NAGASSA MISSING?
So we know that there are mysterious artifacts (of what, really?) emerging, and the corporations are allying in ways that are horrifying in concept, but there’s something else happening under the radar to keep an eye on. +Yuri Nagass has been emitting strange texts. The Essexians have been transcribing them (where is Wright, by the way? Hasn’t checked in in a while. Sooner or later somebody is going to come to his door and its going to be all over. But I digress). As best I can tell, Nagassa returned to his un-contacted (except by him) native friends the Anazteka (you remember, Nagassa grew up with a father at a remote Soviet-era observatory -- wonder what they were looking for). They were in a state of excitement about something going on in the Valley of the Dead (not on a map) and he went on a journey. Found something there that upset or excited him. Hard to tell. Then he disappears. I’m not suggesting that Ingresstigators look for him, I’m sure all sorts of corporate search teams are on the ground right now, Nagassa’s a valuable asset. But my question is this... There are no accidents. I may be going up a lost trail, but.... What do artifacts, the Valley of the Dead and Helios have in common?

Are the artifacts linked to Jarvis' mention of a dragon? The provenance of these is unknown, and it's strange that they should be released at a time when global XM is bottoming out.
ReplyDeleteEdgar Allan Wright is still in touch with us H. Richard Loeb. But we worry about Yuri Alaric Nagassa. His messages ( or at least our interpretations) show a twisted recall of something primordial and chaotic. Similar to to Hank Johnson saw in Africa. Could the artifacts reset some portals to a more dark version ?
ReplyDeletePast artifacts have been of ancient origin and have been used to facilitate the embodiment of XM infomorphs. Could this valley represent the equivalent of a 13Magnus nest? Perhaps these artifacts emerged from that site just as the prior set seemed related to Alexander's campaign in Afghanistan?

ReplyDeleteI had assumed (as we sometimes must in this investigation) that there was a body of research on Anazteka culture beyond that of Yuri Alaric Nagassa's own work. It occurs to me, however, that there is another possibility to consider if Dr Nagassa is indeed the only one to contact them directly: Could they all be XM Infomorphs - ghosts haunting the sites he played in as a child? If he is a sensitive perhaps only he could perceive them, and perhaps the current environmental collapse sparked by Devra Bogdanovich represents a threat to the means by which they survive?
ReplyDeleteWe are still in the dark about most of this H. Richard Loeb . We have only speculation in an effort to make sense of it all. There are many references to the valley of the dead in different cultures across the world. The symbolism is clear. The sun vs the night. How the artifacts play in to all this is unclear without more information.
ReplyDeleteEven Klue S.admitted in that phone conversion that the artifacts will probably result in something bad. There seems to be a direct connection to them and what Yuri Alaric Nagassa is involved with. Tapping into those artifacts is tapping into Chaos.

ReplyDeleteYik Sheng Lee sounds plausible. I like it because it would imply nests tend to be near ruins of civilizations. The Afghanistan nest was in the ruins of the Alexandrian Empire. I wonder what horrors are in the Anaztekan's past. 13Magnus is ancient, after all. And the XM fabric is probably the closest thing they had to fiber-optic transcontinental communication.
ReplyDeleteI wrote a theory some times ago who connected the helios anomaly and Yuri Alaric Nagassa by the new eve medal (in that period i was reading everything on nianticproject.com to understand better), even if i was skeptic about that now i'm starting questioning it again

ReplyDeleteH. Richard Loeb perhaps the connection between all this lies in what jarvis and others have told us of the ultumate and xm patterning. My tentitive theory on this is that the artifacts will throw wide the door that seperates us from the ultumate, where doubtlessly many humans have been pattrened. Nearly every culture we know of fears the dead coming back to life, from zombies to vampires to vengeful spirits everyone is scared of the dead not staying that way. What happens if the legions of the dead who have been patterned start marching out of a door in the ultimate?
